About Alice

Context is everything.

I’m Alice Joe—a designer and advocate for meaningful, inclusive storytelling. My work centres on a simple belief: good design is not only about how something looks. It is about the impact it makes, the stories it honours, and the communities it lifts up.

I’m a member of the Nlakaʼpamux Nation and grew up on the Shulus Reserve outside Merritt, BC. My education across fine art, graphic design, technical writing, and UX design continues to shape how I listen, collaborate, and make.

A generous process

Make room for the good questions.

Listen first

We begin with the people, histories, and practical needs that give the project its shape.

Find the thread

We turn many voices and moving parts into a visual direction that feels coherent, not flattened.

Make it usable

We build for real readers, viewers, visitors, and users—across formats and levels of access.

Leave it stronger

The goal is a system your team can understand, own, and keep carrying forward.

For leaders, advocates, educators, and storytellers who care deeply about what they do.
